Welcome to the Gentili Province of the Rosminians (Institute of Charity)

We hope that you will find this site helpful and informative.
These past few years have been historical ones for Rosminians everywhere, and for our families and friends.  Our Founder, Antonio Rosmini, was a great spiritual, philosophical and political thinker in Italy in the 1800's, but before his death he had fallen from favour and his writings and person were treated with great suspicion for many years.

However in the course of recent decades his writings were again examined and declared to be free from any error and after the long wait Antonio Rosmini was Beatified in the northern Italian City of Novara on November 18 2007. Jesus Christ be Praised.
At our General Chapter in October 2008 it was decided to restructure our Provinces and so from September 2010 the Irish Province along with our Brethren from England/Wales, the USA and New Zealand became the Gentili Province.

The First Provincial Superior of the Gentili Province, Fr. David Myers, retired on 8th September 2014 and has been replaced by Fr Joseph O’Reilly..
