Welcome to the Irish American Province of the Rosminians (Institute of Charity)

We Rosminians are a religious congregation of about 250 members worldwide. We have communities in Italy, the UK, New Zealand, Ireland, the USA, India, Tanzania, Kenya and Venezuela.

Our particular charism is to serve God and God’s people in whatever way we can, wherever we can, whatever the circumstances. Our Founder, Blessed Antonio Rosmini was a great spiritual, philosophical and political thinker in Italy in the 1800’s. We try to follow his example of fidelity to the Church and openness to new insights.

In the Irish-American Province we are 35 members who work in a number of different ministries - parishes, various chaplaincies, and as missionaries etc.

Fr. Joseph O’Reilly is Provincial of the Irish-American Province since January 2019
